Hyderabad is a city known for its long history and steady growth. The city has progressed through different governments without slowing down. People from across the country continue to move here for better jobs and easier living conditions. Affordable housing and strong employment opportunities attract more residents every year.

Many North Indians are also choosing Hyderabad as their new home. They are finding good opportunities in software and construction sectors. Skilled professionals are expanding their careers here. This growing diversity is adding to the city’s social and economic strength.

Hyderabad has now received a rare global honour. The city has been ranked among the world’s top 100 best cities. In the 2026 World Best Cities Report, Hyderabad secured the 82nd position. This ranking reflects the city’s modern lifestyle, solid growth, and improved facilities.

Other Indian cities also ranked in the report. Bengaluru achieved 29th place, Mumbai stood at 40th, and Delhi reached the 54th position. Hyderabad earned its place mainly due to its IT services and overall liveability. These strong indicators helped the city gain international recognition.

Demand for office space in India rose 8 per cent in the first nine months of 2025, reaching 50.9 million sq ft. Bengaluru led overall transactions, while Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai also recorded high demand traction, according to Colliers.

The three cities accounted for over half of Grade A office space uptake in Q3 2025. Each saw annual demand growth of at least 40 per cent. Bengaluru retained dominance with 14 million sq ft leased, capturing a 27 per cent share of total office demand.

Global capability centres (GCCs) contributed strongly, leasing nearly 20 million sq ft across top seven cities in 2025. Domestic firms continued steady activity. Experts expect Grade A space demand to reach around 70 million sq ft by year-end, led by global technology companies.

New supply remained robust with 16.6 million sq ft completed in Q3, a 15 per cent rise year-on-year. Pune led quarterly completions, followed by Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR. Flex space adoption increased, with Bengaluru, Pune, and Chennai taking nearly two-thirds of Q3 uptake. Agile workplace strategies are expected to account for one-fifth of total office demand in 2025.
