During the event, the moon will pass into Earth’s shadow and shine in glowing red and orange shades, creating the famed “Blood Moon.” Experts note the total eclipse will last for 82 minutes, making it the grandest lunar eclipse of the decade.

The eclipse will be visible across India, Asia, western Australia, Europe, and Africa. People in major cities like Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, as well as small towns, will see the event clearly with the naked eye.

Eclipse timings: partial eclipse begins at 9:50 p.m., total eclipse at 10:58 p.m., mid-eclipse at 11:41 p.m., ending at 12:24 a.m. The final phase concludes at 1:31 a.m. The sacred “Punya Kala” linked with the eclipse will end at 3:41 a.m.
