Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on February 4, 2026, launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing the party of spreading confusion and making “illogical claims” instead of focusing on development. Speaking at a press conference in Chandigarh, he said the opposition has reduced politics to confrontation and social media noise.

Calling Congress a “tweet master party,” Saini claimed it survives on rhetoric rather than results. He argued that the BJP, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, works on delivery and governance. He also said the party is steadily expanding its political footprint not only in Haryana but also in Punjab and West Bengal.

During the interaction with the media, the Chief Minister strongly criticised the Congress for its reaction to the Union Budget. He said many leaders began opposing the budget even before the speech was completed. According to him, some leaders rushed to Twitter midway and claimed Haryana received nothing, without reading the full details.

Saini described the budget as the second one under the Modi-led Government 3.0 and said it supports the vision of Viksit Bharat. He called it comprehensive and reform-oriented for the country’s 140 crore citizens, including around 2.80 crore people of Haryana. He added that Congress opposes the budget mainly to stay in headlines, not due to ideology.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi, Saini said the Congress leadership often makes statements that show a lack of seriousness. He cited Rahul Gandhi’s remarks during a Kurukshetra visit and called them an example of irresponsible political messaging.

The Chief Minister rejected claims such as “Haryana is missing from the budget” and termed them cheap politics. In his remarks, he said Congress-era budgets encouraged “revdi culture,” while the current government focuses on long-term reforms and infrastructure.

Highlighting development work, Saini praised road construction and claimed India has progressed rapidly in infrastructure. He also compared agricultural spending, stating that allocations rose from Rs. 25,000 crore during Congress rule to Rs. 1.62 lakh crore under the Modi government.

Warning against misinformation, Saini said public discourse should be based on facts rather than viral claims. He added that the government’s vision is to make youth job creators, not job seekers.

The Maharashtra government has announced major steps to ensure a Maharashtra farm income boost in the coming months. The new measures focus on crop support, market access, and financial stability. Officials believe these efforts will help farmers earn better returns and reduce their economic stress.

Government Plans to Raise Farmer Earnings

The state has rolled out a direct benefit scheme to support small and marginal farmers. It offers timely financial aid for seeds, fertilizers, and farm machinery. The government will also expand procurement centers. This move ensures farmers receive fair prices without depending on middlemen.

To strengthen the agri-economy, officials will create more storage facilities. These units help farmers store produce safely and sell it at the right time. The government expects this step to contribute strongly to the Maharashtra farm income boost goal.

Market Reforms to Improve Price Stability

New market reforms will open more avenues for farmers. Updated digital platforms will allow them to sell produce directly to buyers. This system increases transparency and gives farmers better price control.

The government will also launch training programs. These sessions teach farmers modern farming methods, crop diversification techniques, and weather-based planning. Experts say such training can reduce crop loss and improve earnings.

Focus on Sustainable Farming

Along with income growth, the government aims to promote sustainable agriculture. It will provide support for drip irrigation, soil testing, and water-saving practices. These initiatives help farmers reduce costs and increase long-term productivity.

The latest announcements show the government’s commitment to strengthening rural livelihoods. If implemented well, the new strategies could significantly boost farm income across Maharashtra.

India aims to become a $30 trillion economy by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Viksit Bharat” vision. To achieve this, mastering technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing is crucial. Andhra Pradesh is now at the center of two major technological milestones shaping this vision.

Amaravati will soon host India’s first “Quantum Valley” for research and innovation, while Google will invest $15 billion in a 1-gigawatt hyperscale data center in Visakhapatnam. Similar to how Microsoft transformed Hyderabad’s IT landscape, these projects will make Andhra Pradesh a hub for global digital infrastructure.

The Google AI hub will use advanced liquid cooling systems, reducing water and power use by 20%. It will also generate 80% of its electricity from solar power. With India now producing 20% of global data but having only 3% storage capacity, Visakhapatnam’s data center expansion is a timely move.

Experts predict this initiative could create over 150,000 jobs. The government plans to focus on AI skill development to meet workforce demand. If successful, Google’s Visakhapatnam hub could solidify India’s position as a global AI powerhouse.
