On Friday, the Aam Aadmi Party released its second list of eight nominees, bringing the total to 22 out of 50 seats. Party leaders said the move shows confidence, preparation, and a clear intention to challenge the BJP at the grassroots level.

The second list features Pujan Malvankar (Anjuna), Carol Fernandes (Calangute), Arvind Tendulkar (Penha de Franca), Ujjwala Naik (St Lawrence), Avinash Jadhav (Querim), Sarita Panjikar (Veling Priol), Clena Fernandes (Curtorim), and Joseph Peixote (Guirdolim). AAP leaders stressed that these candidates come from community work, business, education, and social activism, ensuring better representation of local voices.

State Convenor Amit Palekar said the party wants fresh, accessible faces with a genuine desire to solve Goa’s everyday problems. Valmiki Naik noted that AAP prefers trusted volunteers instead of parachute entrants. The AAP ZP Poll Candidates strategy reflects the party’s people-first approach, focusing on healthcare, transparency, corruption-free governance, youth support, and village-level development.

Earlier this month, AAP released its first list of 14 nominees in constituencies such as Tivim, Colvale, and Aldona. With nearly half the seats covered, the party plans to announce the remaining candidates soon as campaigning picks up across rural Goa.

Volunteers Build Road Ahead of Guru Tegh Bahadur Anniversary, marking one of Punjab’s most inspiring community-driven projects. An 8-km stretch of the Anandpur Sahib–Garhshankar road in Ropar district now stands completed without any government funds. Volunteers Build Road Ahead of Guru Tegh Bahadur Anniversary has become a key phrase in the region because the work reflects devotion, unity, and collective responsibility.

The project grew under the leadership of Baba Satnam Singh from the Kar Seva Jatha Kila Anandgarh Sahib. He and his team prepared the road before the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The group widened, levelled, and metalled the road in one year and nine months. They built bridges and ensured smooth travel for devotees heading to major religious sites such as Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Mata Naina Devi Temple, and Kiratpur Sahib.

Villagers contributed labour, materials, and even private land. They understood the need for a better route. Many families offered parts of their fields to help complete the project. The Jatha also announced compensation at four times the registered value to support landowners.

The unique “Seva Toll” allows travellers to donate any amount. Local MLA and Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains also extended support, which increased public participation.

This road now stands as a symbol of faith, teamwork, and determination.

Delhi came alive with civic spirit as Minister Ashish Sood led a massive cleanliness drive across key city zones. The initiative, part of a broader campaign to promote public hygiene, drew hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life. Students, local residents, NGOs, and municipal staff joined hands to clean parks, streets, and marketplaces.

Ashish Sood actively participated in the cleanup, motivating citizens to take ownership of their environment. He stressed the importance of sustainable habits and community-driven change. The cleanliness drive Delhi campaign focused on waste segregation, recycling, and reducing plastic use.

Volunteers collected garbage, planted trees, and distributed reusable bags. Street plays and awareness booths educated the public on eco-friendly practices. The minister praised the turnout and encouraged Delhiites to make cleanliness a daily commitment.

The event also featured interactive sessions with environmental experts. They shared tips on composting, rainwater harvesting, and reducing carbon footprints. Local schools pledged to maintain clean campuses and involve students in weekly drives.

Ashish Sood’s leadership energized the crowd and set a strong example for civic responsibility. His hands-on approach resonated with participants, many of whom pledged to continue the effort in their neighborhoods.

The cleanliness drive Delhi initiative reflects a growing movement toward sustainability and urban pride. It’s not just about cleaning streets—it’s about building a cleaner, greener future together.
