Punjab celebrated Women Entrepreneurship Day with high-energy events that honoured women who drive growth, innovation, and social change. The Aam Aadmi Party government organised “Women Honour Programmes” across the state under the theme “Empowered Women, Strong Women.” The celebrations brought together hundreds of women entrepreneurs from rural and urban areas. They shared their experiences in business, leadership, and community work. Their stories reflected determination, creativity, and courage.

The main district-level event took place in Moga. AAP Punjab Women Wing President and MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur Arora attended as the chief guest. She honoured women who built enterprises in farming, retail, services, manufacturing, and digital sectors. Dr. Arora said the day belonged to women who rose above challenges and continued to support their families and communities. She praised their resilience and noted that every successful woman inspires many others to step forward.

Dr. Arora also explained the Punjab government’s commitment to encouraging women-led ventures. She mentioned training programmes, financial assistance, market linkages, and business mentorship. She said these efforts help women turn ideas into successful ventures. District President Mandeep Kaur, District Secretary Lovely Singla, and senior Women Wing leaders joined the programme.

Across Punjab, similar events took place in Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, Hoshiarpur, and other districts. Women showcased products such as handmade goods, innovative services, organic items, and digital startups. Many speakers emphasised that women bring strong management and problem-solving skills to business. They also said women-led enterprises create jobs and strengthen local economies.

Dr. Arora said the enthusiastic participation across districts showed the rising confidence of women in every field. She called the programme a celebration of real achievement and personal journeys. She thanked all women entrepreneurs for supporting Punjab’s progress and encouraged young women to explore entrepreneurship with confidence.
