Speaking at an event held at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy distributed Young India Education Kits and highlighted the government’s focus on strengthening public education. He said the state has allocated ₹26,600 crore, or 8.5% of the budget, to the education sector.

The Chief Minister stated that Telangana Education Hub plans include 119 Young India Integrated Schools that will offer modern facilities and quality learning. He also announced the development of a Skill University to prepare students for future jobs and a Sports University to help young athletes compete at the highest level.

Revanth Reddy encouraged students to focus on education and skills. He said strong classrooms can shape successful futures and help Telangana become a model state for education in India.

During the event, he rejected a prepared script and chose to speak from his experience. He said students should grow into lawyers, doctors, IAS officers and intellectuals. He described his rural background and said it shaped his understanding of people’s lives. Moreover, he assured that the government will develop the campus by including student and expert suggestions.

Revanth Reddy also highlighted social justice issues. He stressed that true development begins when the poorest receive real opportunities. He pointed to past failures in land distribution and questioned leaders who built large farmhouses while many Dalit families lacked basic resources. He reminded students that OU produced several national icons, including PV Narasimha Rao and Gaddar.

Furthermore, he said education brings progress, equality and dignity. He explained new projects such as Young India Integrated Schools and Young India Sports Schools. He said these institutions aim to create future champions and prepare students for global success.
