TCS to Begin Operations in Visakhapatnam with New Delivery Centre in January 2026
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is set to begin operations in Visakhapatnam in January 2026, marking a significant boost to the city’s IT ecosystem. The company will launch a new Delivery Centre from a rented facility at Rushikonda, initially employing around 2,000 professionals. TCS plans an initial investment of about ₹80 crore for setting up infrastructure and operations.
The move reflects TCS’s strategy of expanding its presence in emerging IT hubs beyond traditional metro cities, while also supporting regional economic development. The Visakhapatnam centre is expected to generate employment opportunities for local talent and strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as a growing technology destination.
