Former MLA Rajballabh Yadav has stirred controversy with his comments on Tejashwi Yadav’s wife. The remarks drew strong criticism from Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders. Now, Tej Pratap Yadav, elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, has reacted sharply.
Tej Pratap Yadav said twice that Rajballabh Yadav has a criminal figure image. He added that such people are bound to fall. He also reminded the public that Rajballabh was expelled from the RJD due to his controversial behavior and repeated misconduct.
On Sunday in Muzaffarpur, Tej Pratap directly targeted Rajballabh Yadav. After attending a private program at Prabhat Cinema Chowk, he went to Baba Garibnath Temple. Because of the lunar eclipse period, he could not perform rituals but was welcomed warmly by the chief priest and other temple priests.
When asked again about the controversy, Tej Pratap repeated his stand. He said he does not associate with criminal figures and that such people have no place in politics. His statement makes it clear that the RJD leadership wants to distance itself from Rajballabh Yadav’s controversial past.
