Tejashwi Yadav Absence: Opposition Leader Missing Sparks Political Storm

News report highlighting Tejashwi Yadav absence from Bihar Assembly session

The Tejashwi Yadav absence during the winter session of the Bihar Assembly has created a major political controversy. The session lasted five days, but the Leader of the Opposition was seen only on the first day. Soon after, news spread that he had left for Europe. This Tejashwi Yadav absence immediately triggered criticism and raised questions about his commitment.

Ram Kripal Yadav strongly attacked Tejashwi. He said that the public may not trust him again as the Leader of the Opposition. He also accused Tejashwi of insulting democracy by ignoring his responsibility.

Speaking to reporters, Ram Kripal Yadav said that this is the first time an Opposition leader skipped an important session. He added that people of Bihar are watching his actions closely. On the first day, Tejashwi had hugged and congratulated Ram Kripal Yadav, but the situation changed quickly after his sudden trip.

AIMIM MLA Akhtarul Iman also criticised the move. He said that the opposition already has few members, and losing its leader during the session sends a wrong message. JDU’s Neeraj Kumar questioned why Tejashwi chose to travel when his father is unwell at home.
