Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, head of the All India Muslim Jamaat, sharply criticized Tejashwi Yadav for hurting Muslim leadership in Bihar. He said Tejashwi is repeating the same mistake Akhilesh Yadav made in Uttar Pradesh—ignoring Muslim leaders and voices.
During a recent rally with Rahul Gandhi in Saharsa, no Muslim leader appeared on stage among 25 speakers. This, according to Maulana Barelvi, shows how the 25% Muslim population in Bihar is being overlooked. He warned that Tejashwi seems busy winning his 2.5% core vote bank instead of respecting the wider Muslim community.
Barelvi also compared Bihar’s situation to Uttar Pradesh, where Akhilesh Yadav once pushed Muslim leaders aside. He urged people to stay alert and choose their leaders carefully in the next election. The Maulana said the political atmosphere in Bihar is heating up, and all parties are preparing for a tough fight.
He ended by reminding that true leadership must represent every section of society, not only selected groups.
