Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reiterated Telangana’s ambitious growth vision at the Biodesign Summit held at AIG, Hyderabad. The summit highlighted advancements in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology, showcasing the city’s growing global influence in these sectors.
Addressing entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers, Reddy praised Hyderabad’s strong position in MedTech and life sciences. He assured full state support for startups, data-driven research, and healthcare innovations. “Hyderabad is emerging as a leader in research and entrepreneurship. Telangana will back every initiative that strengthens this growth,” he said.
The Chief Minister projected that Telangana would become a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047. He stressed the need for deeper collaboration among industries, academia, and startups to accelerate innovation and sustain long-term development.
The event showcased India’s rising role in global healthcare. With Hyderabad already leading in pharmaceutical exports and biotech advancements, the state aims to cement its place as a global MedTech hub. “Telangana is truly rising,” Reddy declared, expressing confidence in the state’s path to sustained innovation and economic expansion.
