Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has urged the Centre to speed up work on proposed new airports in Telangana. During a meeting, he called on Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu and requested quick approvals and support for the projects.
Mr. Reddy said new airports are important for improving regional connectivity and boosting economic growth. He explained that better air links will help industries, tourism, and trade, and create jobs for local people. He also said that fast-growing towns in Telangana need improved transport facilities.
The Chief Minister stressed that the State government is ready to provide land and necessary clearances to move the projects forward. He asked the Union Minister to ensure that all pending proposals are cleared without delay.
The Civil Aviation Minister assured him that the Centre would examine the requests and extend cooperation as per rules and feasibility.
