Telangana is preparing to present its case regarding the *Krishna river water dispute* before the *Tribunal in Delhi. Minister **Uttam Kumar Reddy* demanded that *out of the total 811 TMC of river water, 555 TMC should be allocated to Telangana, citing that the **majority of the river flows through the state*.
Uttam emphasized that *not a single drop of the state’s rightful share will be compromised, underlining Telangana’s firm stance on water allocation. The demand reflects the state government’s determination to **secure adequate water resources for irrigation, drinking, and industrial purposes*, crucial for the region’s development and agriculture.
Representatives from *Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra* were also invited to the meeting, though reports suggest they may *not attend. Telangana’s approach demonstrates a **strong legal and political commitment* to protect its water rights in the Krishna river basin.
