Telangana is preparing a large surveillance system with 11,000 cameras for the upcoming municipal elections on February 11. The system is being set up to ensure free, fair, and peaceful voting across the state.

Officials said the cameras will be installed at polling stations, key roads, and sensitive areas. The surveillance will help election authorities monitor activities in real time and prevent any illegal practices. Special teams will watch the live feeds and respond quickly if there is any problem.

The state government said this step is part of its effort to use technology to improve election management. Authorities have also trained staff to operate the cameras and manage the system efficiently. Voters are encouraged to follow rules and report any suspicious activity during the elections.

With this large-scale surveillance, Telangana aims to make the municipal polls more transparent and safe for everyone.
