The Telangana government has decided to extend the use of rented vehicles and accommodation for District Panchayat Officers (DPOs) and Division-Level Panchayat Officers (DLPOs) for another year. The approval pertains to the current financial year’s rental vehicle file, ensuring continuity of transport facilities for administrative functioning.
As per the approved order, 31 DPOs and 68 DLPOs will continue using the rented vehicles. The Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department has sanctioned ₹3.96 crore to cover the rental costs.
Minister Sitakka signed the approval file, underscoring the department’s commitment to ensuring smooth mobility and operational efficiency for field officers engaged in rural governance and development programs across the state.
