The Telangana High Court will hear petitions today filed by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and Minister Harish Rao regarding the Kaleshwaram project case. Both leaders are challenging the state government’s move to hand the case over to the CBI.

In their petitions, KCR and Harish Rao asked the court to ensure that no action is taken against them based on the Justice Chandra Ghose Commission report until the court reviews the matter. On Monday, the court dismissed an interim application that sought immediate relief before today’s hearing.

The government will brief the Advocate General in court on its decision concerning the CBI probe. With the case carrying major political weight, the court proceedings are being followed closely across Telangana. Observers expect detailed scrutiny of the commission’s findings and the potential impact on the state’s top leadership.
