Telangana Leaders Seek Guest House in Tirumala for Pilgrims and Officials
Telangana leaders have urged the State government to establish a dedicated guest house in Tirumala to accommodate pilgrims and officials visiting the renowned hill shrine. The proposal highlights the growing need for convenient lodging facilities for Telangana devotees, who often face challenges in securing accommodation during peak seasons and festivals.
Lawmakers and local representatives emphasized that a Telangana guest house would not only provide comfort and convenience for pilgrims but also serve as a base for official visits, administrative work, and cultural events linked to the temple. They noted that similar facilities by other States have helped streamline accommodation, reduce travel hassles, and enhance the overall pilgrim experience.
Officials from the Telangana government have been requested to identify a suitable location near the temple complex and initiate planning and construction promptly. Advocates of the proposal argue that such a facility would strengthen the cultural and spiritual ties between Telangana and Tirumala while supporting smooth pilgrim management during festivals like Vaikunta Ekadasi.
