In a proud moment for Telangana, science teacher Maram Pavithra from Zilla Parishad High School, Penpahad, has been chosen for the prestigious National Best Teacher Award 2025. She is the only teacher from Telangana to receive this year’s honor, making her achievement a source of inspiration for educators and students alike.
Pavithra’s journey reflects her dedication, creativity, and innovative methods that transform classroom learning. Earlier, she earned recognition as the State’s Best Teacher in 2023, further strengthening her reputation as a role model in the education sector.
The Union Education Department announced that the President of India will present the award at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on September 5, during Teachers’ Day celebrations.
District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar, education officials, colleagues, and students expressed immense joy at her achievement. For Suryapet district, this recognition goes beyond an award—it highlights the power of teaching and the impact of committed educators on rural communities.
