Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy announced that the state government will construct Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) roads worth ₹10,896 crore in the first phase, covering 5,587 kilometers across the state. He assured that within the next three years, all major roads in Telangana would be as smooth and shiny as mirrors.
Komatireddy stated that tenders will be invited next month for the project, which aims to significantly enhance the state’s road infrastructure. The plan includes developing double-lane roads connecting mandal headquarters to district centers and four-lane highways linking district centers to Hyderabad.
He emphasized that the government’s priority is to create accident-free roads by adopting modern construction standards and safety measures. The initiative marks a major step toward improving transport connectivity, safety, and regional development across Telangana.
