A tragic road accident during the Bihar Elections road accident has claimed three lives in Vaishali district near Hajipur. The victims were employees of a private survey company conducting exit polls for the Bihar elections. Around 3:30 a.m., their Swift car collided with a parked truck near an HP petrol pump on the Hajipur-Jandaha main road.
Three people, including a woman, died on the spot. They were identified as Hemant Yadav, Arpita, and Ram Swaroop. All had completed survey work in Kishanganj and were heading to Hajipur for another assignment. Three others were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital with help from locals.
Police from the Vaishali station reached the site, took custody of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem. The truck and the car were seized for investigation. Company officials arrived in Hajipur soon after, and the families of the deceased were informed. Authorities are taking necessary legal action following the Bihar Elections road accident.
