Tourism a Priority Sector, Says Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said that tourism is a top priority sector for the State, adding that its potential remains largely untapped. He stressed that tourism can play a major role in economic growth, job creation, and regional development if planned and promoted effectively.
Speaking at a programme in Vijayawada, the Chief Minister highlighted the need to develop tourist destinations while protecting local culture and the environment. He said the government is working on new policies to attract investments and improve tourism infrastructure.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also spoke on the occasion and emphasised the importance of road connectivity to tribal hamlets. He said proper roads are essential for development, access to services, and promotion of tourism in remote areas.
Both leaders underlined that inclusive development and better infrastructure are key to the State’s progress.
