Travel Ban on Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra Until Court Conditions Met

The Bombay High Court has ruled that actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra cannot travel abroad until they deposit ₹60 crore in connection with a cheating case. The couple had earlier petitioned the court seeking suspension of the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against them by the police, which prevents them from leaving the country.
The case involves allegations of financial fraud linked to their now-defunct venture. The police had issued the LOC citing the possibility of the couple fleeing the country amid the ongoing investigation. In their plea, Shetty and Kundra claimed they needed to travel abroad for professional and leisure purposes, but the court refused relief without a financial assurance.
The court emphasized the seriousness of the charges and stated that the LOC would remain in place until the ₹60 crore is paid, ensuring cooperation with legal proceedings
