TTD to Establish Sri Venkateswara Temples in Guwahati, Patna, Coimbatore, and Belgaum

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced plans to establish Sri Venkateswara temples in Guwahati, Patna, Coimbatore, and Belgaum. TTD Executive Officer stated that these new temples will provide devotees outside Andhra Pradesh and Telangana an opportunity to participate in the rituals and spiritual practices associated with the famous Tirupati shrine. The initiative is part of TTD’s broader plan to expand its religious and cultural presence across India, making its traditions more accessible to devotees nationwide. The new temples will follow the same worship practices, festivals, and management systems as the main Tirupati temple. Officials emphasized that the project aims to promote spiritual engagement, religious tourism, and cultural integration. TTD is also focusing on ensuring proper infrastructure, facilities for devotees, and trained staff at these new locations. Construction timelines are being finalised, and the administration expects these temples to become major centers for devotion and community activities in their respective cities.
