PUDUCHERRY – Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has requested permission to hold a roadshow in Puducherry on December 5. The event is part of the party’s outreach programme ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections in the Union Territory and Tamil Nadu.
A TVK delegation, led by party founder Vijay, met Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and Director General of Police Shalini Singh to seek official approval. They outlined the planned routes, security measures, and arrangements to ensure a safe and smooth event.
The party said the roadshow will allow direct interaction with the public. It aims to raise awareness about TVK’s political agenda and encourage citizen participation in the democratic process. In addition, the event will feature speeches, cultural performances, and outreach activities, providing an opportunity to connect with voters.
Officials assured the delegation that all necessary guidelines and protocols will be followed. TVK emphasized that maintaining law and order remains a priority during the roadshow.
