An uncontrolled vehicle crash in Araria claimed the lives of two teenage boys in Gosnagar village of Bihar on Thursday morning. The uncontrolled vehicle crash in Araria happened around 8:30 am when the boys were walking on a village road near their grandfather’s house.
The victims were identified as 14-year-old Jatan Kumar and 12-year-old Dilkhush. A speeding vehicle went out of control and hit them suddenly. Local residents rushed both boys to the Primary Health Centre at Kursakata.
Doctors declared Jatan dead on arrival. Dilkhush was referred to another hospital for advanced treatment. He died on the way near Sundari village.
The tragic incident created panic and anger in the village. Family members and neighbors gathered at the accident site and demanded strict action. Many residents raised concerns over reckless driving on village roads.
Police officials, including the station officer and the circle inspector, reached the spot soon after the incident. They conducted a preliminary investigation and sent the bodies to Araria Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Both boys belonged to poor families. Their fathers work outside the state and were informed about the tragedy. The village remains in deep mourning.
