Hyderabad (ADNN):
Telangana flood review and farmers’ welfare took center stage when Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy held a high-level meeting at Jalasoudha on the flood situation. He declared that the government’s top priority is safeguarding irrigation projects and supplying water to every farmer without delay.

The Minister asked officials to stay alert as reservoirs and lakes continue to receive heavy inflows. He urged them to act in advance, protect projects and structures, and avoid any damage. He also reminded engineers to monitor tank filling carefully and release water on time to support agriculture.

Linking both issues, Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that Telangana flood review and farmers’ welfare are connected. He said the government will provide every farmer with sufficient water for cultivation. He warned that whenever floods create trouble, officials must step in immediately and protect crops from loss.

Chief engineers, superintending engineers, and executive engineers joined the review. They presented reports on flood impact, preventive steps, and long-term strategies. Closing the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy stressed that farmers’ welfare in Telangana flood review will continue to guide every decision of the state government.
