A new *Vande Bharat Express halt* was inaugurated at *Mancherial railway station, with Union Minister **Bandi Sanjay* as the chief guest, joined by State Minister *G. Vivek, MP **Vamsi Krishna, and MLC **Anji Reddy*. The leaders flagged off the train amid loud slogans of “Jai BJP” and “Jai Bandi Sanjay.”
Speaking at the event, Sanjay recalled that the first Vande Bharat was launched in 2019, and today *150 such trains* are running nationwide, including *five in Telangana. He noted that each train costs ₹130 crore and said Telangana has already benefited significantly. He announced the sanction of a *₹3.5 crore foot overbridge** for Mancherial and ₹26 crore upgrades under the *Amrit Bharat scheme*, promising to transform the station into an airport-like facility.
Sanjay also highlighted PM *Narendra Modi’s leadership, citing over *₹42,000 crore spent on Telangana railways in the past decade** and ₹80,000 crore worth of ongoing projects.
