YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the upcoming Visakhapatnam Data Center project is the result of groundwork laid during the YCP government. He recalled that the foundation for the Adani Data Center was first laid in November 2020, with the official shilanyas held on May 3, 2023.
Jagan added that crucial infrastructure, including subsea cable connectivity, was initiated during that period. He emphasized that the combined efforts of YCP, the Adani Group, the Central Government, and the Singapore Government paved the way for the project.
He asserted that without the earlier foundation work and clearances, the present progress in Visakhapatnam would not have been possible.
