Wave Estate Winter Festival turned Sector 85, Mohali, into a lively hub of colour, creativity, and community spirit on December 13 and 14. The two-day event aimed to promote local entrepreneurs and strengthen bonds among residents.
Around 75 stalls lined the venue, giving home-based businesses and local creators a platform to shine. Vendors displayed handmade crafts, customised gifts, clothing, home décor, handloom items, bakery products, gardening décor, and lifestyle goods. Organisers kept stall charges low to encourage participation from small entrepreneurs.
The food court emerged as a major crowd puller. Visitors enjoyed a wide range of cuisines throughout the day. Children found plenty of excitement in a dedicated play zone featuring cartoon characters, tattoo making, and interactive games. The family-friendly atmosphere added to the festival’s charm.
Engaging activities kept crowds entertained. Tambola games, ramp walks for children and couples, and live performances drew enthusiastic participation. Theme-based music nights, including Retro Night and Fusion Rock Night, received loud applause.
Several prominent guests attended the festival. Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh and leaders from BJP, SAD, and Congress praised the initiative. DGP (Law & Order) Arpit Shukla also visited.
Residents organised the event. Committee members ensured smooth planning and a memorable celebration for all.
