The Wedding Pandal Became Battlefield in Vaishali shortly after the garland ceremony when two men from the groom’s side allegedly entered the bride’s room without permission. The bride’s family objected and asked them to leave, which sparked a heated argument between both sides.
Soon the argument turned into a violent clash. People from both sides started hitting each other with sticks, chairs, and fists. Several guests were injured, and some vehicles belonging to the groom’s party were damaged during the chaos.
Amid the violence, the groom reportedly used offensive words, which angered the bride. She refused to marry him despite the ceremony already starting. Police later arrived at the scene and controlled the situation. No official complaint had been filed at the time of reporting.
