Where and how to complain if CO harasses you was clearly explained by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha during a state-level workshop in Patna. He said people must know their rights and should not fear local officials. Where and how to complain if CO harasses you must be known in every district.
The minister spoke at Gyan Bhawan and strongly scolded circle officers and revenue staff for delays, rude behaviour, and misuse of power. He said public service is not a favour but a duty.
Sinha announced that complaint boxes will be placed in every Circle Office and DCLR office. People can drop written complaints if they face harassment or unnecessary delays. Senior officers will open these boxes regularly and take action.
He warned that officers who trouble citizens will face strict punishment. Honest officers will receive rewards and recognition.
The minister also ordered inspections of land records and action against fake documents. Officers absent from the workshop must submit explanations.
Sinha said citizens can also complain directly to higher officials if problems continue. He promised transparent and fast solutions to land-related issues across Bihar.
