Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declared that his government is committed not only to cleaning up physical waste but also to eradicating “dirty politics.” Speaking at the Swachhandhra–Swarnandhra meeting in Macherla , he said that the coalition government, upon assuming power, had abolished the garbage tax imposed by the previous regime.
He highlighted that his administration has already taken responsibility for clearing 85 lakh metric tonnes of accumulated waste across the state.C criticized past governments for mismanagement and corruption, warning those involved to be cautious.
“ Our mission is to keep our surroundings clean and also cleanse the political system of corrupt practices, ” he asserted. The Chief Minister’s remarks underscored his dual focus on environmental cleanliness and political accountability, resonating with citizens eager for both civic improvement and transparent governance in Andhra Pradesh.
