The Women Job Fair in Patna will give a major opportunity to women looking for employment in Bihar. The state government will organise the two-day job fair on March 16 and 17 at Gyan Bhavan. Officials expect around 2,000 job opportunities for women during the event.
The Women Job Fair in Patna is being organised by the Women and Child Development Corporation under the Social Welfare Department. More than 50 national and multinational companies will take part in the event. Women will get a chance to interact directly with company representatives and attend interviews on the spot.
Companies from sectors such as IT, banking, retail, healthcare, customer service, and manufacturing will offer jobs. Many women trained under government skill programmes and the Bihar Skill Development Mission will also participate.
The job fair is open to women aged 18 to 35 years with qualifications ranging from 10th pass to graduates or technical degree holders. Candidates should carry documents such as Aadhaar card, resume, certificates, and passport-size photos for interviews.
The initiative aims to connect skilled women with employers and improve employment opportunities in the state.
