The Women’s Revolution in 2029 Elections could change India’s political landscape, according to senior JDU leader Rajiv Ranjan Prasad. He said the NDA government plans to implement women’s reservation to increase women’s participation in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking about the plan, Rajiv Ranjan said the government will soon move forward with the proposal in Parliament. He noted that an extended session of Parliament is expected to discuss the issue on April 16. The aim is to speed up the legal process and ensure stronger representation for women in politics.
He added that the Women’s Revolution in 2029 Elections will help bring more women into decision-making roles in Parliament. According to him, the NDA government wants to ensure that women get a larger and more meaningful presence in national politics.
Rajiv Ranjan also highlighted how Nitish Kumar has already promoted women’s empowerment in Bihar through reservation in local bodies. He said the same vision is now being expanded at the national level.
