Tripura Governor Nallu Indrasena Reddy on Monday emphasised that youth power key for India’s development and urged students to take an active role in nation-building. He made the remarks while addressing the 44th Telangana State Conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
Reddy said that India has made significant progress in technology, education, and the economy over the past decades because of the energy and creativity of its young population. He added that to face global challenges such as social unrest, drugs, and emerging security threats, the youth must be well-prepared and morally grounded.
The Governor highlighted the importance of blending India’s cultural heritage with modern education. He encouraged students to embrace both traditional values and contemporary skills to become innovators, leaders, and responsible citizens. According to him, this combination is essential for India to achieve its potential on the global stage.
Reddy also praised organisations like the ABVP for mobilising students and encouraging nationalism. He said such groups help young people understand their role in national development and security. He urged students to take part in constructive activities, contribute to society, and uphold the country’s ethical and cultural values.
The Governor concluded by stressing that India’s future rests in the hands of its youth. By staying disciplined, resisting negative influences, and using their skills for the nation’s benefit, students can help India emerge as a leading global power.
