Tadepalli: The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has decided to launch a massive statewide agitation opposing the privatization of medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The party has planned a series of protests from October 10 to 22 under the “Rachabanda” (public forum) program.

As part of the campaign, YSRCP will organize district and constituency-level demonstrations, collect one crore signatures, and submit them to the Governor. Protest rallies will be held across all constituencies on October 28, followed by district-level dharnas on November 12.

The party aims to collect at least 50,000 signatures from each constituency. The final step of the agitation will take place on November 26, when YSRCP leaders plan to meet the Governor and submit the collected signatures, urging the government to stop privatizing medical colleges.
