Yudh Nashian Virudh Youth Awareness Drive Begins in Bathinda as officers, students, and medical professionals join hands to strengthen the fight against drugs. The initiative gained momentum at Adesh University in Bhucho under the State Police’s “Sampark Project.” Yudh Nashian Virudh Youth Awareness Drive Begins with strong support from students who showed deep concern about the rising drug threat.
Special DGP Jatinder Jain led the session, joined by DIG Harjeet Singh and Bathinda SSP Amneet Kondal. They urged students to take an active stand against addiction and guide their peers toward a healthier path. Officers showed impactful awareness videos that revealed the physical and emotional damage caused by drug use.
The officers highlighted that youth in the medical field hold great influence. They can guide society with knowledge, compassion, and awareness. This responsibility, they said, can change countless lives.
A Cyber Crime Cell expert also warned students about online scams, unsafe digital behavior, and harmful trends. Students learned ways to safeguard their identity, money, and mental well-being online.
The In-charge PPMM addressed sensitive yet important topics such as Good and Bad Touch, the role of helpline numbers 112 and 1930, sexual harassment, domestic violence, and the Shakti App.
DGP Jain and SSP Kondal both urged students to stay away from drugs and help build a drug-free society.
