Chaudhary stated that the voting will take place between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM through ballot papers. A total of 1.36 crore voters will participate across the state. He also released the full timeline for nominations, scrutiny, and withdrawal so candidates can plan their campaigns clearly and responsibly.
Candidates can file nominations from December 1 to 4, and scrutiny will take place on December 5. Withdrawals are allowed until 3 PM on December 6. Voting is scheduled for December 14, while counting will take place on December 17.
The Election Commission has focused on strong administrative preparations. Half of the seats are reserved for women, which encourages greater representation in grassroots governance. Moreover, nearly 50,000 police personnel will maintain law and order during the elections.
