Nirmal MLA Aleti Maheshwar Reddy announced a major boost of ₹144.51 crore for development projects in his constituency. The Panchayat Raj Department approved ₹69 crore for 28 roads spanning 84 kilometers under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The MLA said tenders will be finalized soon and work will begin shortly.
Reddy stated that another ₹3.70 crore has been added for Nirmal town development. Along with the earlier ₹15 crore, the total allocation reached ₹18.70 crore. The funds will help build new CC roads, improve drainage, and upgrade civic amenities for better urban living.
He also said ₹69.10 lakh was approved for restoring the Beeravelli Lift Irrigation Project in Sarangapur mandal. The project will enhance irrigation facilities and benefit hundreds of farmers in the ayacut area.
Residents and farmers praised Aleti Maheshwar Reddy for his efforts. They said these works will improve road connectivity, support agriculture, and strengthen the region’s infrastructure.
