Telangana State Hajj Committee Chairman, Nayer Afterban Hasha, announced that a total of 2,210 pilgrims from Hyderabad have been selected to perform Hajj this year. Across Telangana, 4,292 applicants were chosen through a lottery-based draw system.
The Chairman informed that out of 11,757 applications received from the state, the selection process was carried out transparently using the draw method, ensuring fairness for all applicants. He further stated that those selected will be provided with all necessary guidance and support to prepare for their pilgrimage. Applicants and their families seeking additional details or clarifications were advised to contact the Hajj Committee office directly.
The announcement has brought joy and relief to thousands of families, as performing Hajj is considered one of the most significant spiritual journeys in a Muslim’s life. The committee assured smooth arrangements for the selected pilgrims.
