Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, paid homage to the martyrs at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial in Mumbai, commemorating the 16th anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks. The ceremony was held at the Mumbai Police Commissioner’s Office, bringing together senior officials, family members of the martyrs, and dignitaries from across the state.

During the solemn event, a police platoon presented a ceremonial salute and the “Last Post” was sounded, honoring the officers and civilians who lost their lives in one of India’s deadliest terrorist attacks. CM Shinde highlighted the bravery and dedication of the security personnel, stating that their sacrifice remains an inspiration for the entire nation. Dy CM Fadnavis echoed the sentiment, emphasizing that the martyrs’ courage continues to guide law enforcement and citizens alike.

Governor Radhakrishnan also paid his respects, underscoring the importance of remembering the ultimate sacrifice made by those who laid down their lives to protect Mumbai and its residents.
