*Minister Savitha* has assured that the *Rural Development Trust (RDT)* will continue its *key developmental services* in the *Rayalaseema region* of Andhra Pradesh. She stated that if necessary, discussions regarding the *denial of FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) approval* for the organization would be taken up with *Prime Minister Modi* by *CM Chandrababu Naidu*.
Founded in *1969* by *Vincent Ferrer* from Spain, RDT has been instrumental in *constructing 70,000 homes* and promoting *education, healthcare, and sports development* in around *3,500 villages across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Over the years, the organization has received **FCRA funds amounting to ₹280 crore*, which support its ongoing initiatives.
Minister Savitha emphasized that RDT’s efforts remain *crucial for rural upliftment, and the government is committed to **ensuring the continuation of its welfare programs* without interruption, benefiting thousands of residents in Rayalaseema.
