The *Ration Dealers Welfare Association* has announced that *ration shops across Telangana* will be *closed from October 3* in protest against the *non-payment of pending commissions. The decision was announced by the association president, **Raju*, citing delays in government payments as the primary reason for the strike.
Raju stated that on *October 1 and 2, all dealers are prepared to undertake **fasting protests* to press their demands. The association has highlighted that the government owes *₹120 crore in six-month commissions, along with *₹6 crore for grain bag supplies** and *₹15 crore related to KYC expenses*.
This strike aims to urge the *Telangana government* to release the overdue funds promptly and avoid disruption in *public ration services. The move reflects the dealers’ **frustration over delayed payments* and underscores the need for *timely government support* to ensure uninterrupted service at ration outlets.
