Former Andhra Pradesh Minister Ambati Rambabu stated that Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘OG’ did not achieve the level of popularity that was expected. According to him, while the movie was appreciated by Pawan’s dedicated fans, it failed to connect with the neutral audience and could not become a mainstream success.

Rambabu emphasized that he was speaking frankly about the film’s performance without any intention to offend. Addressing potential criticism, he noted that some Jana Sainiks and Pawan supporters might accuse him of having a political motive behind his remarks. However, he dismissed such claims, calling them misguided.

His comments highlight the distinction between fan-based appreciation and wider audience acceptance in the film industry. Rambabu’s candid observation reflects the challenges even star-led films face in appealing to a broader viewership beyond their core fan base.
