AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi announced that his party will fight elections across Bihar, not just six seats. Speaking during the Seemanchal Nyay Yatra in Purnia, he said AIMIM will work for the rights of all people in Bihar, especially Seemanchal.
Owaisi attacked RJD leaders Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav for ignoring his call to join the alliance against BJP. He accused RJD of trying to weaken AIMIM by poaching four MLAs. Still, Owaisi said AIMIM remains committed to people’s struggles.
He promised that Seemanchal’s rights and development will stay his top priority. He reminded supporters that AIMIM raised Seemanchal’s voice in both the Bihar Assembly and Parliament. Calling the defected MLAs traitors, Owaisi said they betrayed the trust of the people.
The rally also saw AIMIM leaders like Akhtarul Iman and Pravez Naz stand with Owaisi. Repeating his stand, Owaisi said that as long as he lives, AIMIM will not leave Seemanchal.
