For the first time in Bihar Election 2025, observers will be deployed in all 243 assembly constituencies to ensure fair and transparent voting. Senior IAS officers from outside Bihar will act as observers. Along with them, 38 police observers and 67 expenditure observers will track law and order and monitor candidate expenses. These Bihar Election 2025 observers will handle voter complaints and ensure smooth polling.
To make voting easier, over 90,000 BLOs and 243 election officers will be available through a single helpline number—1950. Voters can also contact their BLOs via the ECI Net app. Every polling booth will have webcasting, and Form 17 data will be checked with EVM-VVPAT records to prevent mismatches. All 40 Election Commission apps will be active on ECI Net, providing real-time updates and voter convenience.
These reforms aim to make Bihar Election 2025 one of the most transparent and accessible elections in the state’s history.
