The latest Bihar Election Survey 2025 reveals a close fight between the NDA and the Grand Alliance. Voting will be held in two phases, and results will be declared on November 14. According to the survey, the Bihar Election Survey 2025 predicts that the NDA could win 120–140 seats, crossing the majority mark of 122 in the 243-member Bihar Assembly.
The BJP is expected to win 70–81 seats, while JDU may secure 42–48. Smaller NDA allies like LJP (Ram Vilas), HAM, and RLM may add 5–7, 2, and 2 seats respectively. On the other hand, the Grand Alliance led by RJD might get 93–112 seats. RJD could bag 69–78 seats, Congress 9–17, CPI(ML) 12–14, CPI one, and CPI(M) up to two.
Prashant Kishore’s Jan Suraj Party is projected to win one seat, while AIMIM, BSP, and others may grab 8–10 seats. In vote share, NDA is expected to lead with 41–43%, slightly ahead of the Grand Alliance’s 39–41%.
This survey shows Bihar’s political battle heating up as both alliances aim for power.
