Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 9th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 on October 8 at 9:45 AM. It is Asia’s largest telecom, media, and technology event, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
Organised jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), IMC 2025 will run from October 8 to 11 under the theme ‘Innovate to Transform.’ The event will highlight India’s role in driving digital transformation and innovation for economic and societal growth.
The event will host over 400 companies, around 7,000 global delegates, and 1.5 lakh visitors from more than 150 countries. IMC 2025 will showcase 1,600+ technology use-cases in 5G, 6G, artificial intelligence, smart mobility, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and green technology. More than 100 sessions and 800 speakers will participate.
Union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia visited the venue to review preparations. He travelled via the Airport Metro, highlighting India’s push for modern and sustainable urban transport. The event will also strengthen international partnerships with delegations from Japan, Canada, the UK, Russia, Ireland, and Austria, reinforcing India’s leadership in global digital transformation and next-generation connectivity.
