NDA & Grand Alliance Finalize Seat-Sharing

This weekend, Bihar turns into a political hotspot as the Bihar seat-sharing agreement nears its end. The NDA and the Grand Alliance are ready to reveal their seat-sharing plans. Political activity is high from Delhi to Patna, with key meetings happening nonstop.

BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal said the NDA will announce its Bihar seat-sharing agreement on Saturday. The list of 121 candidates for the first phase will follow. JDU and BJP will share around 200–203 of the 243 assembly seats, while smaller allies will contest the rest.

On the Grand Alliance side, RJD leads with 135–140 seats. Congress gets about 52–57, while Left parties share close to 10 seats. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav will handle candidate selection.

Meanwhile, BJP’s JP Nadda will review final candidate names in Delhi. The weekend’s decisions will shape Bihar’s upcoming assembly elections and define new political equations across the state.
