Seat-sharing discussions for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections are in full swing. BJP leaders, including JP Nadda and Amit Shah, met in Delhi to finalize NDA candidates. Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas) also held a key meeting, promising to release its list after the NDA seat-sharing deal.
Meanwhile, within the Grand Alliance, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rahul Gandhi discussed seat division over the phone. Tejashwi Yadav may soon visit Delhi if talks remain unresolved. CPI(ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya extended support to Mukesh Sahni, demanding fair seat allocation.
Major shifts continue—Suraj Bhan Singh joined RJD, and JDU welcomed former MP Arun Kumar back. Prashant Kishor launched his Jan Suraj campaign from Raghopur, while BJP’s Mishrilal Yadav quit and may join RJD. With both alliances racing to finalize names, Bihar politics is heating up fast ahead of nominations.
